C Series

Type - C
GPR Tops Type C Live Center

These live centers are designed for CNC machine tools and copying lathes with hydraulic tail-stocks as well as for machining workpieces with small center holes, and precision machining at ultrahigh RPM speeds.

No maintenance up to 2000 hours and longer service life due to lifetime lubrication of the roller bearings.

  • Concentricity ≤ 5µm
  • High speeds of 10 000 RPMs
  • Drop-forged shank made of hardened steel
  • Rotating point made of through-hardened, alloy steel
  • Four-point support for high axial and radial loads

R Series

Type - RV
GPR Tops Type RV Live Center

The RV version is particularly suitable for turning shafts with small diameters and for use on CNC and copy lathes.

It features pressure indication and has an extended point instead of the standard 60°.

When turning, the optimal clamping pressure is determined for each workpiece. In the R series, the pressure set for axial clamping causes the tip to shift in relation to the housing, indicated by the colored rings. The diagram below shows the corresponding position for each tip size at a given axial clamping pressure. Expansion of the workpiece, caused by heating during processing, is automatically compensated.

X Series

The X-Series live centers are specifi cally designed for high precision grinding and measuring applications.

P Series

The P-Series live centers meet highest accuracy standards and are mainly for measuring and testing applications. These centers are also used for high precision grinding applications.
